Radio 4 by a long way - I feel as passionate about it as I do the NHS, and would take to the streets with pitchfork if it came under threat! The news, quality of journalism, the drama, the acting, desert island discs (which made me cry this week)... no bloody inane adverts...just perfection. A day doesn't go by when it doesn't make me think - telly hardly ever does, nowt wrong with that sometimes, who the hell doesn't want to watch mindless stuff sometimes, but that's all it is nowadays. Attenborough's Madagascar has been apleasure though, and I've snivelled a few times watching that and feeling overwhelmed by things such as mini gecko copulation :) I must be the only person enjoying Masterchef though.. For music for me personally it's radio 6 Music. I don't like most mainstream r&b schlock. I also like radio 3 occasionally for the world music coverage and some classical stuff (though most of it is beyond me). Very few DJ's don't grind my gears though. I've hated Huey 'rock out man' Morgan and now he's replaced with the face punchingly awful Lauren Laverne. I suppose I like alternative, indie and folk kind of stuff so it's great for me. My fave DJ is Fi Glover though. *finally pauses for breath*
