Can I use my DAB digital radio in Singapore or India?

I am moving for a few months to Singapore, and then travelling through India for another couple of months, and was wondering if there is any point in taking my DAB radio with me! I bought my radio fairly recently in the UK if that makes any difference. I expect that these countries have at least some radio stations in English, so doubt that is a problem, but wonder if either of them broadcast the digital signals at all.

They do have DAB, it should work. What you could also do, if you're going for an extended period of time, is get WorldSpace radio, http://www.worldspace.com, its satellite radio for the Eastern Hemisphere. Most of the channels are in English, and I think its pretty good. I know two of Worldspace's channels are on XM, and they're two of XM's best channels.

Singapore has 99% coverage of DAB and there are both commercial and public services on air.
